About me

I began my insurance career in 1997 with one of the top producing agencies in Texas. It quickly became obvious that I was passionate about the concept of insurance and ensuring that everyone was properly insured.

As a native Texan, I must confess that I absolutely love living in the PNW. My wife, two sons and I moved to Lake Stevens at the end of 2016, and now we consider it home. Although our sons, 14 and 16 years old at the time of our move, weren’t necessarily ecstatic about our decision, they have adapted well. Our oldest son decided to join the Navy and our youngest works in the boiler industry. Lake Stevens has a small town, tight-knit feel about it and it made our relocation easy. We found a great church to be a part of and have established  lifelong friendships.

Opening my own Farmers Agency made perfect sense with my experience with them as a fantastic insurance carrier. However, I soon learned that my hands were tied when it came to offering insurance products and competitive pricing. At that time, I decided to transition becoming an independent agent. While I think Farmers Insurance is a great company, I know that the other companies I represent are as well AND I have the ability to shop for the most competitive price for my clients. 

I joined the Lake Stevens Rotary to help make our community a better place and now cannot imagine my life without it. “The Rotary is all about neighbors, friends and problem solvers sharing ideas, and taking action to create lasting change.” That is exactly what I want to offer my clients.
